The Miami Dolphins terminated the contract of guard Lance Louis among a bevy of moves Tuesday to trim their roster down to 75 players.

Louis was signed by the Dolphins in the offseason after spending the first four years of his career with Chicago. He started 28 games, including 11 last season before tearing his ACL.

Miami also waived linebackers Michael Clay, David Hinds and Nathan Williams, wide receivers Jeff Fuller, Julius Pruitt and Andrell Smith, defensive end Emeka Onyenekwu and fullback Jorvorskie Lane.
