Cardinals' first-round pick Cooper breaks leg

Glendale, AZ – Arizona Cardinals rookie guard Jonathan Cooper suffered a broken leg during Saturday's preseason game against San Diego and could be lost for the entire season.

Cooper, selected by the Cardinals with the seventh overall pick of April's draft, was hurt during the third quarter and had to be helped off the field.

The North Carolina product was expected to start at left guard for the Cardinals this season.
