Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Kayla McBride knocked down a go-ahead 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds remaining to lift the San Antonio Stars to a 71-70 win over the Indiana Fever Saturday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

McBride's big shot accounted for the last of three lead changes in the game's closing stages and helped the Stars overcome a 13-point deficit with 5 1/2 minutes to play. The rookie finished with a team-best 14 points.

Indiana owned a seemingly comfortable 67-54 lead following Shavonte Zellous' layup with 5:36 left, but the Stars roared back with a 14-0 run capped by Danielle Robinson's two free throws with 22.6 seconds left.

Briann January then buried a 3-pointer with 6.8 seconds to go to briefly send the Fever back ahead.

Danielle Adams added 13 points to San Antonio's third victory in four games, with Robinson and Sophia Young-Malcolm each netting 10 apiece.

Zellous ended with a game-high 16 points for Indiana, which had a two-game win streak halted. January scored 12 points in defeat.
