While the Denver Broncos are waiting for a resolution on the Von Miller case, they made a move to shore up their linebacker corps in case Miller is suspended.

On Tuesday, the Broncos signed 12-year veteran Paris Lenon, who played his last three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.

After practice, Miller spoke with reporters and said he's aware of reports that say he could be banned for up to six games, "but I haven't heard anything That's the crazy thing about it."

Miller has been practicing with the first team, though a window into the Broncos thinking came last Thursday, when he missed practice while he met with lawyers. Nate Irving, normally a middle linebacker, played on the strong side, and Shaun Phillips filled in at Miller's spot.
