Tulsa, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Odyssey Sims scored 21 points and Skylar Diggins added 20 points with nine assists to lead the Tulsa Shock to a 94-78 win over the Phoenix Mercury.

Riquna Williams finished with 17 points off the bench and Glory Johnson supplied 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Shock, who had lost their first five games to open the season.

Diana Taurasi paced the Mercury with 22 points, while Penny Taylor and Mistie Bass deposited 13 and 11 points, respectively.

Phoenix led 17-16 after a quarter of play, but the hosts opened the second quarter on a 14-2 run. Williams scored the final seven points of the spurt, including a three-point play to cap it and help the Shock to a 30-19 lead.

Tulsa built the lead to a game-high 21 later in the frame and led 50-33 at the break.

The visitors trailed by 12 entering the fourth and got as close nine in the final stanza as the Shock cruised down the stretch.
