Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - St. Louis beat the Cleveland Browns 33-14, but the big story coming out of Saturday's preseason game was the severity of the injury to Rams quarterback Sam Bradford's surgically repaired left knee.

Bradford went down on the game's opening drive after throwing an incomplete pass. He was pressured and hit high by Browns defensive lineman Armonty Bryant.

The former No. 1 overall draft pick missed the Rams' final nine games last season after tearing the ACL in the same knee.

Bradford, who will undergo more tests Sunday, completed 4-of-9 passes for 77 yards before departing.

Austin Davis saw significant playing time for the Rams and threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns, including a 75-yard connection with Chris Givens.

Named the Browns' starting quarterback over rookie Johnny Manziel to begin the season, Brian Hoyer had only 84 yards passing while playing into the third quarter. He did throw a touchdown pass to Andrew Hawkins, but he was also intercepted once and lost a fumble on a sack.

Manziel passed for 85 yards and ran for a touchdown, and was sacked by rookie defensive end Michael Sam.
