The NBA announced on Monday that Portland Trail Blazers guard Terrel Harris was suspended for five games without pay for violating the NBA's anti-drug program.

Harris came to Portland from New Orleans along with center Robin Lopez in a trade this offseason. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard played in 29 games for the Miami Heat over the past two seasons before being picked up by New Orleans off of waivers in March.

The Oklahoma State product has played in 42 games over two seasons in the NBA, averaging 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds.
