The Buffalo Sabres re-signed forward Luke Adam and goaltender Matt Hackett to one-year contracts on Tuesday.

Adam, selected by the Sabres in the second round (44th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, appeared in four games with the Sabres last season, scoring one goal. He has 14 goals and 11 assists in 75 career NHL games.

Hackett was acquired last season in a trade with the Minnesota Wild and spent just about the entire season in the American Hockey League. Overall, Hackett has appeared in 13 NHL games, including one last season with Minnesota. He is 3-7-0 with a 2.64 GAA in his NHL career.
