Senators give Wiercioch three-year deal

Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa Senators re-signed defenseman Patrick Wiercioch to a three-year contract on Monday.

Wiercioch had five goals and 14 assists in 42 games with the Senators last season.

Originally selected by Ottawa in the second round of the 2008 draft, Wiercioch made his NHL debut during the 2010-11 season. The 22-year-old has five goals and 16 assists in 50 career games.
