Flyers, Couturier agree to two-year extension

The Philadelphia Flyers have agreed to a two-year contract extension with forward Sean Couturier.

The deal is reportedly worth $3.5 million.

The 20-year-old Couturier had four goals and 11 assists in 46 games last season.

Originally selected eighth overall by the Flyers in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Couturier recorded 13 goals and 14 assists in 77 games with the Flyers in his rookie campaign.
