Philadelphia, PA – The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to terms with rookie offensive tackle Lane Johnson on a four-year contract on Saturday.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Johnson, the fourth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, played three seasons at the University of Oklahoma after transferring from Kilgore College his freshman year.
A former quarterback, tight end and defensive lineman, he transitioned to the offensive line as a junior with the Sooners in 2011.
Johnson played at left tackle last season, starting 11 of Oklahoma's 13 games. He helped a Sooner offense average 497.9 yards per game, 12th-best in the FBS ranks, and earned second-team All-Big 12 honors.
The signing comes two days before rookies are set to report to the Eagles' training camp.

Both had stated to us how important it was to get this deal signed before the rookies report on Monday and they kept their word. We're all looking forward to watch Lane get his NFL career started."
