Uncasville, CT (SportsNetwork.com) - Becky Hammon scored 18 points, Danielle Robinson chipped in 17 and the San Antonio Stars held off the Connecticut Sun, 74-71, on Tuesday.

Kayla McBride contributed 15 points for the Stars, who shot 16-of-17 from the foul line to win their fifth straight on the road.

Katie Douglas poured in a game-high 25 points while Kelsey Bone donated 12 points and 14 rebounds as the Sun had their five-game home winning streak snapped.

Both teams came in at 8-8, and the outcome was fittingly decided down the stretch.

The Sun trailed by as many as a dozen in the second half but clawed back and tied it at 61-61 on a Bone puback with 2:42 remaining.

Jayne Appel answered at the other end with a bucket inside and McBride followed with a 3-pointer for the Stars, who made all eight of their free throws in the final minute to secure the victory.
