The Golden State Warriors agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with free-agent forward/center Marreese Speights on Friday.

Terms were not released by the team, but Yahoo! Sports reported the pact to be a three-year deal.

Speights, 25, began last season with the Memphis Grizzlies, but was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers on January 22. In 79 games, Speights averaged 8.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.

The 6-foot-10 Speights will provide depth off the bench for the Warriors and is expected to fill the void left by Carl Landry, who signed a free-agent contract with the Sacramento Kings.

The five-year veteran spent his first three seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers, the team that drafted him with 16th pick in 2008 NBA Draft, and holds career averages of 7.8 points and 4.4 rebounds.
