Valencia, Spain – Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu has completed a season-long loan move to Valencia.
Romeu moved to Chelsea in 2011 after coming up through the Barcelona system, but he has failed to hold down a regular place in the first team since arriving at Stamford Bridge.
The 21-year-old appeared in six Premier League games for the Blues last season before missing the second half of the campaign with a knee injury.
But Romeu will now return to Spain for a season in the hopes of reviving his career with Valencia, which finished fifth in La Liga last term.
