Straily called up to start series finale for A's

Oakland, CA – The Oakland Athletics recalled right-hander Dan Straily from Triple-A Sacramento to start Thursday's game against the Chicago Cubs.

Straily has made 12 starts over three previous stints with the A's this season, going 4-2 with a 5.00 ERA.

To make room for Straily on the roster, the club optioned catcher Stephen Vogt to Sacramento.
