The Detroit Red Wings signed forwards Drew Miller and Jakub Kindl to contracts on Saturday.

Kindl was rewarded with a four-year pact, while Miller garnered a three-year deal.

Kindl posted four goals and 13 points over 41 regular-season games, adding a score and four helpers in 14 postseason appearances for the Wings last season.

The native of the Czech Republic and 2005 first-round draft pick has recorded seven goals and 23 assists in 147 NHL games in parts of four campaigns in Detroit. He was set to become a restricted free agent next week.

A pending unrestricted free agent, Miller recorded four goals and four assists in 44 regular-season tilts, with one goal and one assist during six playoff contests in 2013.

Over 324 games in seven pro seasons with Anaheim, Tampa Bay and Detroit, the 29-year-old American has compiled 44 goals and 85 points.
