Clemson University Police have arrested an 18-year-old North Carolina man and charged him with vandalizing the school's beloved Howard's Rock.

Police said Micah Rogers, of Pisgah Forest, was charged Friday with felony malicious injury to personal property and misdemeanor trespassing.

Clemson Police Capt. Eric Hendricks said Rogers was identified after video was released of a pickup truck outside the stadium when the rock was vandalized June 2. Other people were seen on the video. Hendricks says the investigation is ongoing.

Hendricks say Rogers has a Clemson sticker on his truck and Tigers memorabilia in his home.

Police say the missing piece of the rock that football players rub before games has not been found.

Clemson officials say Rogers has a lawyer, but didn't immediately release the attorney's name.
