Juventus have completed the signing of forward Carlos Tevez from Manchester City, the club confirmed late on Wednesday.

Tevez arrives at Juventus Stadium after four seasons with Manchester City, during which time he had been in and out of the starting 11 as a result of some disagreements with former manager Roberto Mancini.

"Juventus Football Club has today completed the capture of Carlos Alberto Tevez from Manchester City," read a statement on the club's website. "The Argentine forward, who will wear the No. 10 shirt, has agreed to sign a contract which will keep him at the club until 2016."

Tevez sparked outrage while at the Etihad Stadium when he was alleged to have refused to play during a UEFA Champions League match at Bayern Munich in September 2011.

Following the incident, Mancini said Tevez would not play for the club again, but he returned to help the club win their first Premier League title.

The Argentina international has notched 13 goals in 62 appearances for his country.
