The Florida Panthers signed new acquisition Bobby Butler to a two-year contract on Monday.

Butler was acquired from the Nashville Predators on June 14 in exchange for forward T.J. Brennan. He totaled four goals and 11 points with a minus-eight rating in 34 games between the Devils and Preds last season.

A product of the University of New Hampshire, Butler has collected 20 goals and 28 assists in 128 NHL games over parts of four seasons for Ottawa, New Jersey and Nashville.

Florida also agreed to a one-year deal with forward Eric Selleck. The 25-year- old totaled 16 points with 181 penalty minutes in 60 games for San Antonio in the American Hockey League. He participated in two NHL games this past season, picking up one assist.
