Seattle, WA – Outfielder Franklin Gutierrez was activated from the 60-day disabled list and the team placed outfielder Michael Morse on the 15-day DL on Saturday.
Gutierrez missed the last two months with a right hamstring injury. Over 16 games this season, Gutierrez batted .259 with four homers and 10 RBI before landing on the DL.
Morse, who was placed on the DL retroactive to June 21, was batting .251 with 11 homers and 23 RBI this season.
