The Colorado Rockies selected the contract of outfielder Corey Dickerson from Triple-A Colorado Springs prior to Friday's game against the Washington Nationals.

Dickerson hit .386 with 19 doubles, 13 triples, nine homers and 38 RBI in 66 games with Colorado Springs this year.

To make room for Dickerson, the Rockies designated pitcher Logan Kensing for assignment. He appeared in one game for the big league club this season.
