The Chicago Blackhawks peppered Tuukka Rask with rapid-fire shots. Tried to sneak up on him from behind. Played hot potato with the puck in front of the net in hopes of catching him off-guard and slipping one by.

None of it worked.

The goalie made 33 saves Saturday night — 18 in the first period alone — and his refusal to yield in the net helped the Boston Bruins even the Stanley Cup finals at one game apiece with a 2-1 overtime victory over the Blackhawks. He made six saves in overtime, including stopping Game 1 winner Andrew Shaw cold.

Game 3 is Monday night in Boston.
