The San Diego Padres recalled outfielder Jaff Decker from Triple-A Tucson and placed outfielder Cameron Maybin on the 15-day disabled list.

Maybin will miss a minimum of six weeks after suffering damage to the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, general manager Josh Byrnes confirmed on Tuesday. The center fielder hurt his knee while attempting a diving catch of a fly ball in the eighth inning of Sunday's game at Coors Field.

Maybin has hit just .157 with a home run and five RBI in 14 games for the Padres this season. He previously missed 45 games with a right wrist impingement.

Decker hit .251 with 10 doubles, five home runs and 20 RBI in 59 games with Tucson this season.
