Persistent rain at Iowa Speedway on Saturday night forced NASCAR officials to postpone the DuPont Pioneer 250 Nationwide Series race for one day.

The 250-lap race at Iowa has been rescheduled for Sunday at 11 a.m. ET. The Sprint Cup Series is running its 400-mile race at Pocono Raceway shortly after 1 p.m. ET.

Rain moved over this 0.875-mile racetrack prior to the start time of 7 p.m. (local time). Jet drying began around 7:20, but another stormed moved over the area about an hour later, forcing officials to postpone it.

Austin Dillon will start on the pole since he won qualifying earlier in the day. Sam Hornish Jr. will start alongside Dillon on the front row. Brian Scott will roll off third, followed by Brian Vickers and Regan Smith, who enters this race with a 27-point lead over Hornish.

Joey Logano, a Sprint Cup Series regular, qualified sixth, but Logano will not compete in this race due to his obligations at Pocono. Ryan Blaney will take Logano's place in the No. 22 Penske Racing car. Blaney finished eighth in Friday night's Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
