Friday's scheduled game between the Minnesota Twins and Washington Nationals was postponed because of inclement weather.

The teams will make up the contest as part of a split doubleheader on Sunday. The originally scheduled contest will still be played at 1:35 p.m. ET and the makeup game will take place at 7:05 p.m.

Tropical Storm Andrea is making its way up the East Coast and also washed out Washington's game on Thursday against the New York Mets. That contest will be made up as part of a July 26 doubleheader.

Washington lefty Gio Gonzalez was originally slated to start against the Mets and was pushed back to Friday. He will now start Saturday.

The Twins were scheduled to start Kevin Correia on Friday.
