Padres reinstate Maybin from DL

Denver, CO – The San Diego Padres reinstated outfielder Cameron Maybin from the 15-day disabled list and placed infielder Yonder Alonso on the 15-day DL on Thursday.

Maybin has been out since April 17 with a right wrist impingement. He batted just .091 (3-for-33) over the Padres' first 10 games before the injury.

Alonso, who suffered a right hand contusion on May 31, was placed on the DL retroactive to June 1. He is batting .284 with six homers and a team-best 29 RBI over 54 games this year.
