Philadelphia, PA – Cody Stubbs drove in the winning run in the 13th inning to give North Carolina a 12-11 win over Florida Atlantic in the Chapel Hill Regional Final.
Mike Zolk drove in four runs while Stubbs finished the game 4-for-7 with two RBI and three runs scored as the top-seeded Tar Heels (55-9) bounced back from Sunday's loss to the Owls (42-22) and advanced to take on South Carolina starting on Friday.
South Carolina (42-18) took a 6-4 win over Liberty (36-29) to claim the Columbia Regional Final thanks to two RBI from LB Dantzler and an RBI and a run scored from Tanner English.
The Gamecocks have won 27 straight postseason home games, including a 16-0 mark at Carolina Stadium.
Philip Pfeifer tossed five shutout innings and Xavier Turner drove in three runs, leading Vanderbilt (54-10) to a 7-1 victory over Georgia Tech (37-27) to win the Nashville Regional.
Vanderbilt will take on Louisville starting on Saturday at home in the Super Regionals.
Hunter Renfroe went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored and Adam Frazier had two hits, two RBI and two runs scored as Mississippi State (46-18) took a 6-1 win over Central Arkansas (42-22) in the Starkville Regional Final.
Mississippi State will face Virginia in the Super Regional starting on Saturday in Charlottesville
Hunter Kopycinski went 4-for-5 with four RBI and two runs scored as Rice (44-18) took an 11-4 win over Oregon (48-16) to take home the Eugene Regional.
Rice will begin its Super Regional action against North Carolina State on Friday.
