Parker Ray nearly pitched a complete game to carry the Texas A&M Aggies to a 6-1 win over the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners in the loser's bracket matchup of the Corvallis Regional.

Ray lasted 8 2/3 innings and allowed just one run while striking out eight batters as the Aggies (33-28) staved off elimination. Cole Lankford went 5- for-5 with a double and two RBI to lead the offensive charge for Texas A&M.

Brock Hartson made the start for UTSA (35-25) and allowed five runs on nine hits in 4 1/3 innings of work to take the loss. The Roadrunners were eliminated from the double-elimination regional.

Danny Hayes walked with the bases loaded to bring in the winning run in the ninth inning as the Oregon State Beavers took the second game of the day with a 3-2 victory over UC Santa Barbara.

Andy Peterson got on base with a bunt single with one out in the ninth inning and the Beavers (47-10) would load the bases with a walk and a hit batter. Hayes then came to the plate with two outs and after drawing the walk the Beavers had broken the 2-2 tie. Max Engelbrekt then pitched a perfect bottom half of the inning to close out the win for Oregon State.

Andrew Moore earned the win in the contest after lasting eight innings while allowing two runs, one earned, and striking out six batters. Ryan Barnes was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI for the Beavers as well.

Greg Mahle was on the hook for the loss for UCSB (35-24) as he allowed Peterson's bunt single though it was Dylan Hecht who walked Hayes.

Oregon State earned a spot in the regional final with the win. UCSB will now battle Texas A&M for the other spot on Sunday afternoon with the final later in the day. The Gauchos topped the Aggies, 6-4, on Friday.
