Celtic wrapped up its title-winning Scottish Premier League season in style, cruising past Dundee United in a 4-0 rout at Tannadice Park on Sunday.

The Hoops bagged three goals in the opening half-hour, getting off the mark through Kris Commons 11 minutes in.

Georgios Samaras extended Celtic's lead by producing a brace, doubling his side's advantage in the 17th minute before grabbing another 10 minutes later.

The visitors held the three-goal edge until the 85th minute when Anthony Stokes tacked on another goal.

Celtic finishes the Premier League season in first place with 79 points, 32 points better than Dundee United.

Also on Sunday, Andrew Hainault scored the lone goal in Ross County's 1-0 defeat of Inverness while Liam Craig and Nigel Hasselbaink scored on opposite sides of halftime in St. Johnstone's 2-0 win over Motherwell.
