Paris Saint-Germain's celebrations for winning the French league title have been cut short following violent scenes in which fans fought with riot police.

Several fans reportedly were treated for minor injuries Monday. Fans also clashed among themselves while store and car windows were smashed near the Champs Elysees.

Sporadic fighting between fans and police around the landmark Trocadero plaza near the Eifell Tower persisted two hours after the ceremony for the team ended. The players' moonlit boat trip along the Seine was canceled.

This was PSG's third league title and first since 1994. The violence comes three years after a PSG fan was killed in fighting outside Parc des Princes stadium — the second hooligan-related death at the club since 2006.
