Browns seventh-round draft pick Armonty Bryant, arrested last week for driving under the influence, is among 49 players participating in a three-day rookie minicamp.

Bryant was on the field Friday along with first-round pick Barkevious Mingo as coach Rob Chudzinski and his staff got their first look at the team's newest players. Bryant pleaded guilty to a DUI charge this week in Oklahoma.

The Browns took a chance in taking the 6-foot-4, 263-pound Bryant, who was arrested on a felony charge last year at East Central Oklahoma for selling marijuana to an undercover police officer on campus.

Earlier this week, Bryant was given a deferred one-year jail sentence after pleading no contest to the DUI charge. He is also required to attend a victim impact panel, obtain a substance abuse assessment and pay $1,136 in court costs.
