The Philadelphia Eagles signed five of the their eight draft picks to a contract on Thursday.

The team agreed to terms with tight end Zach Ertz, safety Earl Wolff, defensive end Joe Kruger, cornerback Jordan Poyer and defensive end David King.

The Eagles picked Ertz in the second round. He became the highest selected tight end by the Eagles since the team took Keith Jackson 13th overall in 1988.

Ertz helped Stanford to a 2012 Pac-12 Conference championship and Rose Bowl victory over Wisconsin. He led the Cardinal with 69 receptions, 898 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

The 6-foot-5, 249-pounder appeared in 38 career games at Stanford, recording 113 receptions for 1,434 yards and 15 touchdowns during his three-year career.
