Ottawa, ON – The Montreal Canadiens will be without captain Brian Gionta and forward Ryan White for Tuesday's Game 4 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the Ottawa Senators.
Both players are sidelined with upper-body injuries.
Gionta also missed Game 2 with the ailment but was in the lineup for Sunday's testy 6-1 loss to the Senators during which the teams combined for 210 penalty minutes in a fight-filled third period.
White incited a line brawl with a slash on the ensuing faceoff after Kyle Turris made it 4-1.
The Senators own a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven set.
