Dwyane Wade is expected to play for the Miami Heat when the reigning NBA champions host the Chicago Bulls in Monday's Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Wade had sat out the Heat's 88-77 Game 4 victory over Milwaukee during the opening round of the playoffs due to a sore right knee, but the move was viewed mostly as precautionary with Miami owning a 3-0 series lead heading into the matchup.

With 11 days between that April 28 clash and Monday's opener with the Bulls, Wade has had ample time to rest and participated fully in each of the team's three most recent practices. The Heat later announced via Twitter that "all players are ready to go with the intent to play in tonight's game."

Wade averaged 13.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game over Miami's first three wins against the Bucks in the quarterfinals.
