Washington, DC – The New York Rangers got forwards Brian Boyle and Derek Dorsett back for Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Washington Capitals.
Boyle (knee) missed the past seven games, including Game 1 on Thursday.
Dorsett, who came over to New York in a trade from the Columbus Blue Jackets on April 3, is making his Rangers debut. He has been out of action since March 7 due to a broken clavicle.
However, New York continues to play without defenseman Marc Staal (eye) and forward Ryane Clowe (undisclosed).
