CB Al Harris retires as a member of Packers

Green Bay, WI – Former cornerback Al Harris has decided to retire from the NFL and will do so as a member of the Green Bay Packers.

The 38-year-old Harris, a sixth-round draft choice by Tampa Bay in 1997, was acquired by the Packers from Philadelphia in March 2003. He started all 102 games he played in for the Packers over seven seasons and was named to a pair of Pro Bowls during his tenure in Green Bay.

In 194 career games, Harris compiled 21 interceptions and four sacks playing for the Eagles (1998-2002), Packers (2003-09), Miami (2010) and St. Louis (2011).
