FC Porto secured its 21st win in 27 league games on Saturday, a 2-0 home victory over Setubal, but the club still remains four points off the pace of leaders Benfica.

Second-half goals from Lucho Gonzalez and Steven Defour handed Porto three more points, but the defending champions were unable to close the gap as Benfica remains four points clear with three games to go after a 2-1 win at Maritimo.

Lima fired Benfica ahead in the fifth minute from the penalty spot, but Igor equalized for the home side a few minutes prior to halftime.

Yet after netting the equalizer for Maritimo, Igor inadvertently found his own net in the 72nd minute to give the goal back and move Benfica a bit closer to snapping Porto's run of six league titles in seven years.

Braga remains in fourth place after giving up two goals in the second half of a 2-1 defeat at Estoril in Friday's lone contest, while Pacos Ferreira moved four points clear in third place after a 2-2 draw at Guimaraes with the visitors scoring the equalizer in the 87th minute through Caetano.

Sporting Lisbon moved into the top half of the league courtesy of a Marcos Rojo goal in the 86th minute of a 2-1 win over Nacional, Academica downed second-from-the-bottom Moreirense, 1-0, Alberto Rodriguez scored in stoppage time to lift Rio Ave to a 2-1 victory over Beira Mar and Gil Vicente secured a 2-0 home win over 10-man Olhanense.
