The Washington Nationals reinstated catcher Wilson Ramos from the 15-day disabled list prior to Monday's game against the Atlanta Braves.

Ramos had been sidelined since April 13, when he suffered a left hamstring strain while attempting to beat out a throw to first base in a game against the Braves.

The 25-year-old backstop, who missed the majority of last season with a torn ACL in his right knee, went 6-for-20 with a pair of home runs in six contests prior to landing on the DL.

To make room for Ramos on the active roster, the Nationals optioned catcher Jhonatan Solano to Triple-A Syracuse.
