Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville has ruled out goaltender Ray Emery and center Dave Bolland for Tuesday's clash with the Minnesota Wild in Game 1 of the Western Conference quarterfinals.

Emery, who posted a stellar 17-1-0 record along with a 1.94 goals-against average while splitting time with Corey Crawford for the top-seeded Blackhawks, has been out of action since sustaining a lower-body injury in a game at Edmonton this past Wednesday.

Bolland, Chicago's usual second-line center, is also dealing with a lower-body injury -- believed to be a groin issue -- and was held out of the team's final three contests of the regular season. He recorded seven goals and seven assists over 35 games during the lockout-shortened 2013 campaign.

Crawford will draw the start between the pipes on Tuesday for Chicago, which claimed the Presidents Trophy by amassing 77 points on a 36-7-5 overall record during the regular season, with Henrik Karlsson serving as the backup goaltender.
