Top Picks Analysis: An amazing job by the Ravens despite starting at No. 32. They got potential replacements for Ed Reed and Dannell Ellerbe in Elam, a somewhat short prospect but one was has good ball skills, and Brown, a versatile three-down linebacker. Williams is a big space-eater who can help take some reps off Haloti Ngata.
Best Value Pick: Simon looks like a great fit as a situational pass rusher for what the Ravens do. If fact he looks like a carbon copy of Paul Kruger, who left in free agency for Cleveland.
Summary: Another strong assemblage of young talent by general manager Ozzie Newsome and assistant GM Eric DeCosta. Newsome is obviously one of the best in the business and continues to consistently hit in the draft. The sky was falling in Charm City when the Ravens lost players like Reed, Ellerbe and Kruger but things aren't looking so bad now.
