Sabres goalie Ryan Miller has acknowledged his future is uncertain now that Buffalo's season has ended.

Though, he has one year left on his contract, Miller's unsure whether he's part of the long-term plans of a team that's suddenly in transition. In missing the playoffs for a second straight year, the Sabres (21-21-6) are coming off a tumultuous NHL lockout-shortened season.

In the span of three months, the Sabres went from contenders to rebuilders. They fired long-time coach Lindy Ruff in February, and then traded three veterans — including captain Jason Pominville — in exchange for prospects and draft picks.

It's not out of the question, that Miller could be next, the goalie said on Saturday while cleaning out his locker.
