The Seattle Seahawks used their first pick of a scheduled 10 selections on the final day of the NFL draft to take Kansas State wide receiver Chris Harper in the fourth round.

Despite the offseason trade for Percy Harvin, Seattle still felt the need to address the wide receiver position. Harper will join a crowded receiver corps for Seattle with Harvin, Sidney Rice, Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin all returning and all are significant contributors.

Harper led Kansas State in receiving each of his final two years at the school. As a senior, Harper caught 58 passes for 857 yards and three touchdowns.
