Winnipeg Jets forward Andrew Ladd, New York Rangers center Brad Richards and San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture have been selected as the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending April 21.

Ladd earned the First Star by leading the NHL with six assists and eight points in only three games as Winnipeg strives for the final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.

The Jets captain totaled three points and the shootout winner in a 4-3 decision over Tampa Bay on April 16, tied a career best with three helpers in a 4-3 win against Carolina two days later and finished the week with two assists in a 5-4 shootout loss to the Islanders this past Saturday.

Richards captured the Second Star after posting a league-high four goals along with a second-best seven points in four games for the playoff-hopeful Rangers. His best performance of the week came in an 8-4 win at Buffalo last Friday, picking up his first career hat trick.

Couture claimed the Third Star thanks to totaling six points (3G, 3A) in four games, including a pair of game-winning tallies. The 24-year-old center recorded a career-best four points (2G, 2A) in a 6-1 romp over Minnesota on April 18.
