KANSAS, DAY TWO – Sprint Cup teams are scheduled to have two sessions of practice at Kansas Speedway today in preparation for Sunday’s STP 400.

Practice sessions are scheduled at 10 a.m. ET and 12:30 p.m. SPEED will broadcast both sessions.

Also on today’s schedule are Camping World Truck Series qualifying (11 a.m.) and the SFP 250 Truck race, scheduled for 2 p.m. SPEED also will televise truck qualifying and the race (beginning with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Setup at 1:30).

Matt Kenseth won the pole for Sunday’s race Friday with a record speed of 191.864 miles per hour. He was followed by Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Nationwide Series regular Sam Hornish and Kyle Busch.

Saturday’s practices will be particularly important for Jeff Gordon, who crashed his primary car in qualifying Friday. The team went to a backup for Sunday’s race.
