The Seattle Mariners have recalled pitcher Hector Noesi from Triple-A Tacoma and optioned pitcher Bobby LaFromboise to the minor league club.

Noesi started the year with Double-A Jackson and was 1-0 with an ERA of 0.00 in two starts before heading to Triple-A on Monday. He did not pitch for the Rainiers.

The 26-year-old right-hander was 2-12 with a 5.82 ERA in 22 games, including 18 starts, for the Mariners last year. He was acquired from the Yankees, along with catcher Jesus Montero, in the deal that sent pitcher Michael Pineda to New York.

LaFromboise allowed two runs in 2 1/3 innings over three appearances for the Mariners this season.
