Kyle Kubat and two relievers combined to pitch a no-hitter in Nebraska's 3-0 win over Arkansas on Tuesday.

Kubat pitched five innings in his first appearance of the season after battling shoulder soreness. He retired 13 of the first 14 batters he faced, walking one and hitting a batter with a pitch before Tyler Niederklein came on in the sixth. Niederklein retired seven straight batters before issuing a walk with one out in the eighth. Dylan Vogt relieved and got the last five outs against an Arkansas team ranked as high as No. 10 in the major polls.

It was Nebraska's first no-hitter since four pitchers did it against Peru State in 1993 and the first against a Division I opponent since 1981, when Anthony Kelley no-hit Oklahoma.
