The health of Robert Griffin III is the main storyline inside the Beltway these days but helping the franchise player by augmenting the offensive line with a right tackle and giving him some additional options at wide receiver could help the Washington Redskins take the next step in 2013.
Jeremy Trueblood was brought in from Tampa Bay to fill in at right tackle but he's hardly the answer. Meanwhile, Josh Morgan is serviceable as a starter at wide receiver opposite Pierre Garcon but picking up a top-tier vertical threat could really open up some running lanes in the read-option for RG3.
Defensively the 'Skins need to add speed and athleticism to the backside of their defense where Madieu Williams is a liability and Brandon Meriweather is coming off knee surgery.
Washington doesn't have a pick in the first round but receiver and tackle are both deep positions in the draft so getting a contributor at No. 51 overall is possible.
