Inter Milan's injury list continued to grow on Sunday as both Walter Gargano and Yuto Nagatomo were the latest players to be sidelined.

Both sustained leg injuries in Inter's 2-0 defeat to Cagliari, and it was revealed on Monday that both could miss the next four games for the Nerazzurri.

Inter manager Andrea Stramaccioni will now struggle to name a strong team for Wednesday's Coppa Italia second leg semifinal contest with Roma as Inter attempts to overcome a 2-1 deficit.

Gargano and Nagatomo join an already lengthy injury list that includes Joel Obi, Gaby Mudingayi, Diego Milito, Luca Castellazzi, Cristian Chivu, Dejan Stankovic, Rodrigo Palacio, Antonio Cassano and Ibrahim M'Baye.

Injuries have played a big role in Inter's recent struggles with the club dropping to seventh place after a run of four losses in five Serie A matches.

Inter trails third-place AC Milan by nine points for the final Champions League place.
