Both Penske Racing teams in the Sprint Cup Series could be facing penalties from NASCAR after Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano had their Fords fail pre-race inspection on Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway.

NASCAR seized the rear-end housing and other parts on Keselowski's No. 2 car and Logano's No. 22 vehicle. Both teams worked feverishly to make adjustments to the cars and then resubmitted them for inspection prior to the start of the 500-mile race at Texas.

Logano's car had to go through the process three times before it was passed. The No. 22 was not rolled out onto the grid prior to the command to start engines. Therefore, Logano had to start from the rear of the field.
