Sister stars Serena Williams and Venus Williams will play some Fed Cup tennis for the United States next week when the Americans host Sweden in a World Group playoff.

The reigning Wimbledon and U.S. Open champion and world No. 1 Serena and the former top-ranked Venus will play Fed Cup together for the first time in 14 months.

The playoff will be staged from April 20-21 on an outdoor hardcourt in Delray Beach, Fla.

Team USA, captained by Mary Joe Fernandez, will also feature Australian Open semifinalist Sloane Stephens and Varvara Lepchenko. All four U.S. women are ranked inside the WTA's top 30.

Heavy underdog Sweden will field a team led by 54th-ranked Sofia Arvidsson, who will be joined by Johanna Larsson, Hilda Melander and Sandra Roma.

The Americans and Swedes have met four other times in Fed Cup, previously all in the World Group, with the U.S. going 3-1. Sweden won their last encounter, however, in Melbourne, Australia back in 1988.

The U.S. is attempting to avoid relegation to World Group II after losing their 2013 opening tie 3-2 to Italy in February.
